Opening Party for Canopy by Hilton, Portland
In July 2018 Elaine Schimek and I were invited to the opening of the new Canopy by Hilton hotel in Portland, Oregon. I’ve done a few projects for this brand in the past, so I was very happy to see them finally arriving here in my city. Their motto is “thoughtfully local” as they try to incorporate a sense of the specific location for each of their hotels, rather than just a generic hospitality. I think it works! The party made everything nice and crowded, but I’ll have to go back on a regular business day to check it out in relative peace. Photos from our tour with some other travel bloggers below.
